SCOTTSDALE, Arizona, September 6, 2011 - When
Larry Kordower was introduced to Master Chef, Diego Bolanos, it was
without a doubt love at first bite. Bolanos, who moved to
Scottsdale from San Diego last year, was searching for
an opportunity to showcase his ability to combine classic and
international flavors in traditional dishes. Kordower, owner of Pinnacle
Grille in North Scottsdale was hoping to find a chef with exceptional
talent and the ability to create delectable yet affordable dishes. It was immediately a match made in culinary heaven.
Diego Bolanos has
been a chef in the hospitality business for over ten years, cooking in
the kitchens of some of the best restaurants, hotels, and casinos in
Southern California. He was named "Best Chef" in San Diego Magazine
2008. In 2009, San Diego Tribune selected his burger as the best in the
city. Bolanos has truly found his niche in North Scottsdale at Pinnacle
Grille, where gourmet burgers are just one of the many items that can be
found on the menu.
Since accepting
the position of Master Chef at Pinnacle Grille in May of 2011, Bolanos
has collaborated with Kordower on many new menu items including salmon,
scallops, steak and pesto flavored chicken. All dishes are flavorful,
unique, delectable, and all distinctly Diego Bolanos.
Perhaps the most
exciting change that Bolanos has brought to Pinnacle Grille is the
addition of a complete breakfast menu, including traditional omelets,
pancakes, oatmeal, and some non-traditional items such as Pinnacle
Grille French toast which is made with Texas toast dipped in homemade
batter and stuffed with strawberries and cheese sauce. According to
Pinnacle Grille owner, Larry Kordower, "Diego's creations are what
Pinnacle Grille is all about. His dishes are tasty and distinctive ...we
are making fine dining affordable." Kordower goes on to say, "Wonderful
food shouldn't cost a fortune and we wanted to create a menu that
allows customers a new option every time they come through the door to
dine with us.
